Owl Hats

Hoo..hooo..hooo!  It's owl time.  Owl hats are all the rage these days and I found them irresistible.  I just had to figure out how to make one so I found this awesome blogger Sarah who has a free pattern posted on her blog. Check it out here: Owl Hat Pattern They ended up to being pretty simple to make...just a little time consuming because of all the details, but totally worth it!  My daughter absolutely loves her hat.

Yarn Colors

I love cotton yarn because it is a very breathable material that will not make your little one sweat but still keeps their heads warm.  This is my current yarn selection.

Textured Newsboy Hat

I purchased this new pattern for a textured newsboy hat from Craftsy
http://www.craftsy.com/pattern/crocheting/accessory/textured-newsboy-crochet-hat/2574
the pattern maker is Britta and I absolutely love her patterns.  They are super easy to read an give step by step instructions for each size.  I love how the hat has turned out and I think the Tea Rose yarn color is perfect for Spring time.

This picture was taken on Easter day at my mom's house in Connecticut.  The dress is from Tea Collection and I purchased it at a cute little children's boutique in Northborough, MA.

This crochet newsboy hat is perfect for any stylish little girl.  It even has a little bling! Isn't my little Sophie cute...she is the perfect model and even works for stickers!

Textured Beanie Hat with Large Bow

Here is my most recent crochet hat. I completed it today but did the majority of it yesterday since we were snowed-in. I think it is so sophisticated and sweet.
